Le tigre makes comeback

by Stephen Garner

American sportswear brand Le Tigre is making a comeback.

Setting up shop this week at Project Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, the brand will be showing its newest collection to buyers as it aims to reenter the market. The new collection will include tees, polos, sweatshirts, track suits, bags, and shoes. Prices range from $34 – $84.

Le Tigre originally launched in 1977 as a unique, bold, and irreverent take on the popular, preppy lifestyle essentials associated with country club pretension.

Le Tigre

The brand rapidly grew in popularity in the ‘70s and ‘80s – adored by celebrities from Tom Hanks to Wilt Chamberlain to LL Cool J to Ronald Reagan.

After a hiatus in the 2000s, Infinity Lifestyle Brands acquired Le Tigre in 2015 and began working to elevate its heritage and bring the same authentic, rebellious attitude and effortless aesthetic to modern sportswear.

Check out the new collection at Project in booth 33253.
