LIDS HAS NEW CAMPAIGN FEATURING THE KID MERO

Global sports retailer Lids has released a new campaign, “Welcome to the Old School,” which stars comedian The Kid Mero as the Principal of Old School. The campaign taps into throwback style, spotlighting the New Era Retro Classic Collection to mark its 30th anniversary.  

The “Welcome to the Old School” ad leans into old school spirit, blending Mero’s humor with sports nostalgia. 

The New Era Retro Classic Collection revives the ‘90s style with authentic details including an old school hangtag, grey under visor and no New Era flag on the side (first time since ‘07). The collection is available exclusively at Lids stores nationwide and online at Lids.com.
