Louis vuitton extends personalization program to menswear, ‘run away’ sneakers

Louis Vuitton is delving deeper into the personalization space with a new men’s program called “Now Yours”, which will be available at New York 5th Avenue and Los Angeles Rodeo Drive stores starting mid-October.

For the first time, the Maison is offering the opportunity to personalize its iconic “Run Away” sneakers as well as men’s ready-to-wear staples (from leather blouson, aviator jackets, varsity cardigans to classic denim trousers). True to the heritage and personalization signatures of Louis Vuitton, the “Now Yours Run Away” sneakers are made in the House’s own workshop in Fiesso, Italy.

With nearly endless combinations, the “Now Yours Run Away” sneaker offers the customer to express his own personal style. To start the personalization process a selection of three Run Away versions are available: full calf leather, full alligator or a mix of alligator and calf leather. Next, thirteen different zones on the shoe are to be defined, including the sole, heel, tongue and laces. A choice of nine colors are proposed: navy, vibrant red, orange, sunny yellow, bright purple, cognac, pure black, and white, along with four canvas options: Monogram, Monogram Eclipse, Monogram White, and Damier Graphite. Once the various colors and canvas have been selected on the different zones, initials can be hot-stamped on the heel or placed on the side of the sneaker. Placement on the side allows the initials to be combined with the House’s iconic stripes in two colors of your choice.

The luxury brand currently offers its clients personalization on their favorite leather goods and travel items with their initials and a bespoke selection of labels inspired by the collection of Gaston-Louis Vuitton through “Mon Monogram” and “My LV World Tour” programs.
