Marine Layer Fort WorthSan Francisco-based lifestyle brand Marine Layer has opened a new store in Fort Worth, Texas – the company’s 36th store in the U.S.

“Our general strategy is to open stores in cities we want to visit, and in areas where we can be discovered naturally by our customer. We’re excited to come to Fort Worth and WestBend’s location, vibe, and tenant mix were a big draw,” said Marine Layer founder, Michael Natenshon. “It was a natural fit.”

Marine Layer Fort WorthLocated at 1701 River Run, the 1,300 square-foot store offers the brand’s full selection of men’s, women’s, and kids clothing and accessories as well as merchandise from third-party vendors: Soko Jewelry, Kris Nations Jewelry, Sunski Sunglasses, and Topo Bags.

“We found a lot of great antiques locally from Simple Things Furniture and Old Home Supply,” added Allison Sanders, senior director of brand at Marine Layer. “We bought lighting, tables, artwork, an old VW bug hood that we made into a light. The owner of Simple Things is an awesome guy. He has a goldmine of great antique furniture and lighting. We salvaged through his warehouse for two days finding one-of-a-kind pieces to bring our store to life.”
