by MR Magazine Staff

A Fulton Market development that’s already home to Lululemon and Bluemercury said it has secured three more retail tenants, cementing the neighborhood’s status as a destination for both local and national brands. 900 West, a collection of 10 buildings that span the block bounded by Randolph, Lake, Sangamon and Peoria streets, will bring in Kinton Ramen, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and upscale menswear boutique Independence later this year, according to Aaron Tucker, chief investment officer of Highland Park-based Tucker Development. Independence, owned by George Vlagos—also the founder of local shoe company Oak Street Bootmakers—opened in 2012 on Oak Street in the Gold Coast, offering American-made menswear.
