THE MITTEN STATE PARTNERS WITH STROH’S ON UNISEX T-SHIRTS
Grand Rapids-based lifestyle company, The Mitten State, has partnered with Stroh Brewing Company to develop a line of unisex t-shirts inspired by the historic, 166-year-old Detroit beer brand. The vintage look is reimagined with a modern fit shape and premium cotton to celebrate the best of yesteryear in forward-thinking fashion.
The t-shirts are available in four different designs and can be purchased online at www.TheMittenState.com and at the company’s retail store in Grand Rapids.
Scott Zubrickas and Will Bransdorfer, who founded The Mitten State in 2009, came upon a six-pack of Stroh’s in the refrigerator of their warehouse. The pair bonded over fond childhood memories of their fathers drinking Stroh’s and decided the quintessential logo was ripe for a re-boot in the form of an apparel line tailored towards today’s dad.
“Stroh’s was really a staple for many of our fathers and grandfathers,” said Zubrickas “It’s what they choose to drink, and they did so with pride because it was a premium beer that was made in Michigan. The recipe remains the same, and certainly the Stroh’s brand will forever embody the spirit of determination and craftsmanship that defines Detroit. To work with a legendary brand like this is really cool for The Mitten State.”
