MONCLER + SALEHE BEMBURY CONTINUE THEIR COLLAB WITH A NEW EQUIPMENTS AMOEBA CAPSULE
Following on from his debut Genius collection last year, footwear designer Salehe Bembury has returned to Moncler for the new Moncler Équipements Amoeba capsule. Showcasing his distinctive geomorphic aesthetic aesthetic in bold new iterations of the Moncler Trailgrip and a new utility bag for Spring/Summer 2025.
The capsule features three colorways of the Trailgrip Amoeba and new Amoeba Utility Pack, that draw from Salehe’s love of Moncler’s mountaineering heritage, reimagined with his original design spin. Vintage-inspired graphics pull from alpine expeditions undertaken by French explorer Lionel Terray and outfitted by Moncler.
The Trailgrip Amoeba leans into the outdoor-terrain core of the brand’s flagship technical sneaker, inspired by the shapes, shades and textures of nature. Distinctive rubber and breathable mesh contours play with the Trailgrip’s functional features – molded cage, carbon fiber footplate, Vibram Megagrip tread, Ortholite insole in three colorways: snow white (pre-launched in January), sunset orange, and heather purple.
The Amoeba utility pack is modelled as a compact pouch crafted from durable and water-repellent lycra, and zip-sealed with Salehe’s signature puller. Suspended from a mountain climbing-inspired cord strap, each of the three versions comes in a deeply saturated palette (heather purple, verdant green, lapis blue).
