NEW YORK MEN’S DAY: A PHOTO ESSAY
Snow, sleet, and a little rain couldn’t deter tenacious New Yorkers from making it over to New York Men’s Day, the official kick off to New York Fashion Week. As I navigated my way through the inspired presentations of six emerging designers, I was reminded how the spectators who step out to see the exhibits are just as much a part of the show as the shows themselves.

Standouts were an urban militia cloaked in cheetah, camouflage, and lace at A. Potts, sultry aprè- ski style mesmerized at Hold NYC, and impeccable tailoring and retro-inspired dreamscapes were on display at Sivan and Peak Lapel.
Congrats to all of the designers for their great work at New York Men’s Day.

Would love to know historically which startup menswear brands participated early on who ultimately broke out. This has never felt like a great investment.
