New York-based menswear brand Nick Graham has announced that John Kammeier has been appointed president of NGL, the brand’s licensed division of dress shirts, neckwear, and furnishings. Kammeier joined company in January 2016 as EVP of Sales and Merchandising, and will be replacing Chuck Hellman, who is transitioning from the company to pursue a personal retail venture. Hellman will remain an advisor to the company.

Kammeier is a product-driven menswear leader with over 30 years in the industry. He began his career in retail, holding buying positions at Woodward and Lorthrop, Neiman Marcus and Britches of Georgetown. From 2004 to 2015, Kammeier was at Randa, where he held various merchandising positions working with such brands as Ryan Seacrest, Michael Strahan, Ben Sherman and others. His most recent position at Randa was president of Neckwear and Jewelry.

“I’m thrilled to appoint John to this position and it’s well deserved,” said Graham. “Over the last 18 months, John has made a significant contribution to the brands growth and has dramatically expanded our distribution. He’s one of the best merchandisers in the Menswear industry and has taken the product and brand to another level.”

“I’ve known Nick a long time and love his vision for his new brand,” added Kammeier. “Giving men contemporary solutions at an affordable price is a huge opportunity and I’m honored to accept a bigger role in the development of the company.”
