NOBIS OPENS ITS FIRST EUROPEAN FLAGSHIP IN PARIS

Nobis has opened its first standalone European flagship store in the heart of Paris. Located at 2 rue des Petits Pères, the new store sits at the intersection of the fashion and business districts, steps from the prestigious Place des Victoires and La Bourse.

The new 80 square-meter (approximately 861 square-foot) boutique was designed by Boa Design and features the Canadian outerwear brand’s fall/winter 2020 collection, inspired by aesthetics from classic retro space films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey.

“We are honoured to bring the full range of our fashion-driven performance wear to the world’s foremost fashion capital,” said Robin Yates, co-founder and vice president of Nobis. “It’s truly a milestone launch for us, and we look forward to helping Parisians make the most of the winter season, especially at a time when they might be looking to spend more of it socializing outdoors.”

The brand’s fall/winter 2020 collection introduces new colors including cool chalks, light grey neutrals, and orange, complemented with futuristic black accents on zippers and ribbing details. Added styles include the Shaw, a ladies’ hip-length jacket with a sporty twist; the Kalvin, a men’s parka re-engineered to battle the elements; as well as the Wayland and the Gibson, respectively a men’s and a women’s long reversible puffer jacket with full technical capabilities to embrace the elements.

Nobis, which launched in 2007, is available in 35 countries and has two flagship stores in Toronto, Canada.
