NORDSTROM HIRES KUMAR SRINIVASAN AS CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Nordstrom Wooldands storeSeattle-based retailer Nordstrom, Inc. has announced that Kumar Srinivasan has joined the company as chief technology officer. In this role, he will help lead the company through its next phase of innovation.

His roles will include identifying and developing opportunities that deliver a competitive advantage and bottom-line returns, and optimizing engineering and software productivity and effectiveness across the company’s four technology teams.

Over the past 18 years, his positions have included co-founder and CEO of Evocalize, chief product & technology officer for Bazaarvoice, and vice president, general manager at Amazon, where he led Amazon Payments Merchant Solutions.
