NORDSTROM RACK TO OPEN FIRST NEW ORLEANS STORE IN FALL 2016
Off-price retailer Nordstrom Rack will open its first New Orleans store in fall 2016 at The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk.
The approximately 35,000-square-foot store will anchor the south side of the development, which opened in May 2014. Other anchors for The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk include Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio, Forever 21 and Coach.
The new store will be the third location in Louisiana following the opening at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge which opened October 1, 2015 and the opening at Ambassador Center in Lafayette which opens March 10, 2016.
“We have been looking for more opportunities to serve customers in Louisiana and we’re excited to bring a Nordstrom Rack closer to home for customers in New Orleans,” said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack. “The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk is an excellent location and we are thrilled to be a part of the retail mix.”
