NORDSTROM TO SPONSOR TONY AWARDS RED CARPET
Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom will sponsor the red carpet for the 70th Annual Tony Awards, which honors the best of the 2015-2016 Broadway season, to take place at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday, June 12.
The red carpet will take place from 5:30 p.m until 8 p.m., and can be seen on the Nordstrom website. The awards show will be televised live on CBS-TV beginning at 8 p.m and will be hosted by Tony winner and talk show host James Corden. The evening’s presenters will include Barbra Streisand, Oprah Winfrey, Cate Blanchett, Carole King, Nathan Lane, Saorise Ronan, Audra McDonald, and Steve Martin. The musical Hamilton leads the pack with 16 nominations.
