A NOTE FROM THE MR TEAM: TOASTING A NEW YEAR

There’s nothing like a pandemic to put life in perspective, to remind us that many things are more important than the bottom line. But as founding MR publisher Stu Nifoussi would often quote his grandmother: “Rich or poor, it’s good to have money…”

So as we look back on a very bittersweet year (tragically, too many lives were lost to this elusive virus but, while it hardly compensates, menswear business picked up beyond most predictions), we’d like to thank our readers for their loyal support and reiterate MR’s mission to inform, educate and entertain, providing you with all the info you’ll need to bolster sales and profits in the year to come.

To kick off 2022, look for MR’s newly in-depth business analysis, trend reports, consumer insights, personality profiles, salable fashion, roundtables, videos, webinars and much more in our weekly fall ‘22 category reports running throughout January/February. Check out too our inspiring New Year’s feature on Legends & Mavericks, profiling those innovators who are making a difference in our quickly evolving menswear community. As always, we welcome your ideas and suggestions for surely, we couldn’t analyze or motivate without your insights.

Wishing all our readers a joyful holiday season and a new year filled with love, laughter, good health, and many unexpected blessings.

xx Lizette, Karen, Charles and Christopher

P.S. A concluding chuckle, borrowed from lifestyle retailer MP3: “Anyone who believes that men are the equal of women has never seen a man trying to wrap a Christmas present.”

P.P.S. We’ll be taking a holiday break as of tomorrow and hope you can too! The MR Daily Newsflash will return to your inbox on January 3rd.
