Online lifestyle store YOOX has launched its first private label called 8 by YOOX, a collection of stylish essentials for men and women.
The biannual collection will consist of easy-to-wear essentials that are timeless in style. Featuring a neutral color palette, the first collection includes t-shirts, jackets, coats, dresses, trousers and sweaters, all designed to create versatile looks that can be enhanced by a range of elegant and practical accessories.
The first collection features products across, ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes for men and women ranging from $29– $979.
Before creating each of these new collections, the YOOX design team uses proprietary artificial intelligence tools to review fashion content across social media and online magazines in key markets. This insight is combined with predictive indicators into emerging lifestyle and fashion trends, analysis of YOOX’s data from products sold on the site, customer feedback, industry buying trends as well as analysis of top trend searches.
The result is a dynamic mood board that allows the design team to tap into the pulse of what the YOOX customer wants. It provides inspiration before the design team starts to conceive items for the collection, which includes everything from silhouettes to colors, and fabrics to textures, keeping in mind the customer’s preferred price points. Thus, creating a collection that is composed of “contemporary essentials”, which are items that represent long term trends instead of seasonal trends at an affordable price.
The fall/winter 2018/2019 collection is now available on YOOX with the spring/summer 2019 collection launching in January 2019.
