The Oscar-Winning Men Of “Moonlight” Star In Calvin Klein’s New Campaign
After a massive win on Sunday night at the 89th Academy Awards—directly preceded, of course, by an equally massive flub—the cast of Moonlight has no doubt been on a high. Now, only hours later, it looks like they won’t be crashing anytime soon: Four of the film’s male stars just made their debut as the faces of Calvin Klein’s new underwear campaign. When Trevante Rhodes, Alex Hibbert, and Ashton Sanders—the three actors who played Chiron in the film—stepped onto the red carpet Sunday night, they were all wearing suits by Raf Simons for Calvin Klein. For the youngest, Hibbert, the look was simple: a single-breasted tux in classic black. The teenaged Sanders opted for a double-breasted version. Rhodes rounded out the trio in midnight blue with black facings. And while Mahershala Ali didn’t join them in CK on the carpet (he wore Zegna), he did get in on the action for the new campaign.
