Paisley & Gray has recently added industry veteran Joseph Cook to their team as brand manager. Cook has more than 15 years of experience running major fashion brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Ferre, Ben Sherman, and Original Penguin. In just a short time, he’s added wonderful stores to Paisley & Gray’s client roster, including Halls Kansas City, Stitch Fix and the Met in Sarasota.

“I’m thrilled to join the Paisley & Gray team and look forward to helping the company grow its better specialty and department store business with our new sustainable limited-edition collection launching for fall ’19,” Cook tells MR. “This is in addition to our established blue label collection and an expanded sportswear offering. It’s an exciting time to join the company!”

Says Paisley & Gray president Vince Marrone, “Joe is an outstanding addition to the team. An industry veteran with a distinguished history of serving better department and specialty stores, he brings exceptional marketing expertise, energy and great fashion sense to our growing company. He’s been instrumental in the launch of our new limited-edition collection for fall. This is an earth-friendly premium collection incorporating recycled fabrics and vegan leather, so important in today’s Save the Planet conversation. I’m thrilled to have Joe aboard as we take the next steps in our development into a full lifestyle brand.”

Editor’s note: The limited-edition collection for fall ‘19 looks exceptional: kind of a Ralph Lauren meets Versace aesthetic. Many of the suits are made of recycled wool in beautiful classic menswear patterns but lined in directional prints. Retail pricepoints for the combined sportcoat and trouser average $650, filling a void in the market.
