Pal Zileri Names Torello-Viera CEO, Americas
Pal Zileri has named Paolo Torello-Viera as president and CEO of its Americas business. Torello-Viera comes to Pal Zileri from BVM USA, an Italian women’s wear manufacturer. He served as COO at both Samuelsohn and Brioni after 14 years with Zegna.
“I am very excited and honored of being part of such a great team, where the business acumen, the strategic vision and the human component are fully integrated and walking side by side,” said Torello-Viera in a statement. “The challenge is big but I am confident that the results will be outstanding, bringing Pal Zileri to the top.”
In April last year, Pal Zileri’s parent company, the Italian tailored clothing manufacturer Forall Confezioni SpA, was acquired by Mayhoola, a Qatari investment group. In June, Paolo Roviera, a Zegna executive who started his career as an intern for Pal Zileri, was named CEO. Stefano Gaudioso, a former executive at Zegna and Corneliani, was named GMM.
