Peter Millar is opening a store in Denver in partnership with Craig Andrisen and Dave Morton of Andrisen Morton. The 1,750 sq. ft. store, scheduled to open in October, will be at street level in the new 250 Columbine development, a mixed residential and retail project in the Cherry Creek North district.

“We are eager to embark on this new venture with Dave and Craig,” said Peter Millar president Scott Ruerup in a statement. “These gentlemen are two of the best in the business and have established an unmatched reputation for luxury menswear in the Denver community. We are excited to bring the breadth of the Peter Millar Collection to Denver and showcase the line to the loyal clientele base that Craig and Dave have strongly established.”

Added Dave Morton, “We are thrilled to further cultivate our relationship with Peter Millar. It is an incredible honor for myself and Craig to be presented with this opportunity to share in the ownership and endorsement of such an aspirational and leading brand in the menswear industry. We are particularly gratified to expand our footprint in the men’s clothing market in our own backyard, where our business was born. This partnership will be the perfect dovetail to Craig and [my] existing multi-brand store and we look forward to sharing a bright future with Peter Millar.”

The store will be Peter Millar’s first in the Western U.S. and the fifth overall; the brand also has stores in Southampton, NY; Palm Beach, Fla.; Austin, Texas; and Madison Avenue in New York.

Andrisen and Morton founded their eponymous store in 1978. Their 10,000 sq. ft. store, also in the Cherry Creek North district, is about 10 blocks from 250 Columbine.

Peter Millar was founded by Chris Knott in 2001. Knott announced his retirement from the company as head designer in March.
