PITTI IMMAGINE TAPS CLAUDIO MARENZI AS PRESIDENT

Florence-based trade show organizer Pitti Immagine has named Claudio Marenzi as president of the company.

Currently, Marenzi serves as the CEO of luxury sportswear brand Herno, a position he will remain in while serving at Pitti Immagine.

Andrea Cavicchi, the current president of non-profit organization that promotes and internationalizes the Italian fashion system, the Florence Centre for Italian Fashion (CFMI), has been appointed vice president of Pitti Immagine.

In addition to Marenzi and Cavicchi, the company announced the new Board of Directors which will maintain their new posts until 2020, with the approval of 2019 financial statements. They include: Carlo Piacenza; Claudio Orrea; Niccolò Biondi; Micaela Le Delivelec; Niccolò Manetti; and Franco Baccani.

As new president, Marenzi appointed Raffaello Napoleone as the ninth company director, to be passed at the Centro’s next Board of Directors.
