RALPH LAUREN UNVEILS RYDER CUP TEAM UNIFORMS
American heritage brand Ralph Lauren has unveiled the Official 2016 United States Ryder Cup Team uniforms, continuing its partnership with the PGA of America as the Official Outfitter for the U.S. Ryder Cup Team. Combining the rich heritage of the tournament with innovative performance fabrics, Ralph Lauren will outfit the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, including Captain Davis Love III with uniforms, outerwear and tailored clothing to be worn during play, Opening Ceremony and the welcome dinner during the 41st Ryder Cup, September 27 – October 2, at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.
The Ralph Lauren Ryder Cup collection includes a timeless array of Polo Golf and RLX Golf apparel, and will be available for purchase on RalphLauren.com, shop.pga.com and in select golf clubs, resorts and retail stores. As part of the partnership, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Ralph Lauren Ryder Cup Collection will benefit the PGA of America’s 41 Sections to grow and teach the game of golf, and PGA REACH, a program dedicated to positively impacting the lives of veterans, youth, and diverse populations through the game of golf.
Additionally, the team will attend the Opening Ceremony dressed in classic navy doeskin blazers, spread-collar poplin shirts, customized club ties and charcoal trousers; captains will wear gray, rope-stripe suits all provided by Ralph Lauren. And, for the welcome dinner, players will wear crisp navy suits with matching solid ties and white poplin shirts, accented with white pocket squares. Captains will be attired in charcoal suits with black ties and dress shoes.
