RAY-BAN LAUNCHES NEW BLUE LIGHT FILTER PRODUCT CATEGORY

by Stephen Garner

Ray-Ban has been protecting eyes from UV rays since 1937. Now, Ray-Ban is expanding its mission to help us in this work-from-home reality by protecting our eyes from harmful blue light emitted from our electronics.

This new category, called Everglasses, encompasses three Ray-Ban lenses: Blue Light Filter, Evolve Photochromic Lenses, and Clear Lenses. Evolve Photochromic Lenses are light-sensitive, automatically adapting to shifting light conditions with UV400 protection for almost complete sun coverage.

Both Evolve and Clear Lenses are also available with a Blue Light Filter, designed to reduce visual discomfort induced by blue light. Perfect for those who are always in front of a screen, Everglasses improves visual comfort in front of digital devices through blue light filtration.

The new Everglasses category is comprised of a wide selection of styles including the Aviator, Wayfarer, and Square frames with Evolve Lenses. Clear Lenses are available for the Boyfriend, the RB4300, RB4068, and Justin designs.

Evolve Photochromic Lenses with Blue Light Filter are available for the State Street, Round, Frank, Olympian, and Balorama styles. Clear Lenses with Blue Light Filter are available for the Clubmaster, New Wayfarer, Octagon, Hexagonal, Aviator II, Jackie Ohh, Predator 2, Erika, and Daddy-O.

Styles are currently available at Ray-Ban.com.
