Rhone has signed a multi-year partnership with Miami Heat Forward Jimmy Butler, a first-of-its-kind for the company which has become a closet staple for men since its inception seven years ago.

As an investor and business partner, Butler will be an active creative collaborator with a hand in design and marketing and will be integral to Rhone’s “Forever Forward” mission leading community outreach programs including a summer basketball clinic for underprivileged youth.

With this strategic partnership, Butler will infuse Rhone with his creative vision and will closely work with the brand to launch a new vertical, as well leverage his expertise to develop forward-thinking product collaborations. Butler will first be featured in the brand’s summer 2021 campaign.

Furthermore, Butler will help to propel Rhone’s mission to create a strong sense of community by contributing to and helping shape the voice of Rhone’s social channels and content platform, The Pursuit, in addition to joining Rhone in engaging communities via hyper-local initiatives and CSR programs.

“Rhone’s partnership with Jimmy is a first for the brand, and we are very excited to work with him on multiple facets of the company, as we push forward in our commitment to revolutionizing the menswear space,” said Nate Checketts, co-founder and CEO of Rhone. “Jimmy contributes a strong perspective and is a natural fit for Rhone due to his entrepreneurial spirit, intense work ethic, passion for the greater good, and comfortable cutting-edge aesthetic.”

“I’m thrilled to join Rhone not only as the face of the brand, but as a true business partner in high-quality and thoughtfully-made performance apparel,” added Butler. “The opportunity to play an active role in the development of Rhone is something I’m passionate about and looking forward to accelerating the growth of an incredible company.”
