Streetwear designer Rhuigi Villaseñor has teamed up California-based retailer PacSun to launch Rhuigi x PacSun.  The new brand is a PacSun exclusive diffusion brand from Villaseñor’s highly-coveted streetwear brand Rhude.

The new collection consists of a wide range of long and short sleeve t-shirts, pullover hoodies, snapback hats, and socks, retailing from $20 – $90. Design inspiration for the thoughtfully curated collection drew from Villaseñor’s mainline, consisting of wildlife and classic Americana motifs.

Villaseñor chose to partner with PacSun to fill the consumer need for easily accessible designer streetwear at an affordable price point.

“Malls have such a resonance with L.A. and was one of my first introductions to shopping and retail culture,” said Villaseñor. “PacSun was the first store with that national mall presence that really specialized in aggregating streetwear brands – now that culture is viewed in a completely new context – but working with PacSun was fun for me as a nod to the early democratization of streetwear.”
