RUSSELL WESTBROOK’S HONOR THE GIFT EXPANDS INTO WOMEN’S, KIDS

by Stephen Garner

Honor the Gift, the contemporary fashion line from NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook, has expanded its offering into options for women and kids.

Family is a core moral center for Westbrook and the brand, it is a natural next step to expand the offerings with options for women and children. What has been an outlet to showcase what a kid from the inner city can build in life, there have always been plans for continued growth from Westbrook and Honor the Gift.

“What does it feel like when gravity can’t hold us back?” This question was the driving force of this collection’s development. Inspired by the legendary Tuskegee Airmen who served as the first African-American military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps and vintage military and aerospace garments, the collection spans from thought-provoking graphic references of branded quilting to avant-garde constructed silhouettes – all designed in Los Angeles.

The collection draws from the fearless themes of air and space, a metaphor that so heavily resonates with Westbrook’s personal message of representing self-belief, overcoming hardship, and defying all odds.

The new collection consists of tees, hoodies, jackets, pants, shorts, and accessories for men; bodysuits, sports bras, shorts, and leggings for women; and shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants, ranging in sizes 5-14, for kids. Ranging in price from $28-$90 for kids, $45-$56 for women’s, and $45-$250 for men’s, the collection will be available on honorthegift.co.

The men’s and kid’s pieces launch on Tuesday, March 2nd, followed by the women’s launch on Tuesday, March 16th.
