SCHMOOZING: BALDASSARI HOSTS DINNER IN TUSCANY

If you’ve never been to a candle-lit dinner in the Tuscan hills in Italy at sunset, you are missing one of the wonders of the world.

I had the great fortune to attend this annual Pitti Uomo event hosted by Maurizio Baldassari, his beautiful wife, and sons Roberto and Renato, who are now running the business. But business was not the point: the evening celebrated great food and wonderful wine, family and friendship, fruit trees and flowers, music and dancing, and all the pleasures of life, Italian style!
