SEBAGO TAPS SURFER LEONARDO FIORAVANTI AS NEW DOCKSIDES AMBASSADOR

by Stephen Garner

Sebago has tapped Italian professional surfer Leonardo Fioravanti as its new Docksides ambassador.

Fioravanti has impressive achievements. A surfer from the age of six, he was the first Italian ever to be ranked by the prestigious World Surf League, the international organization which oversees surfing at the professional level. After placing first at the Sydney Surf Pro competition in 2020, he placed fifth at the opening competition of the 2021 championship tour: Billabong Pipe Master. Only the pandemic has temporarily prevented Fioravanti from participating in the Olympic Games.

From now through August 31st, Fioravanti will be the frontman of Sebago’s digital campaign dedicated to its signature Docksides style. The campaign will feature both footwear and apparel collections from the brand’s spring/summer 2021 season.

“As John Fitzgerald Kennedy once said, ‘We come from the sea and the sea is our home.’ For me that’s exactly what it’s like,” explained Fioravanti. “I’ve spent the last 15 years in the ocean: surfing, playing, and enjoying the best times of my life; in this amazing connection we all have with the ocean. And since Sebago Docksides come from the sea. I’m proud to be part of this family.”
