SHINOLA AND LEATHERMAN TEAM UP ON NEW MULTI-TOOL

Detroit-based retailer and manufacturer Shinola has entered into a collaboration with famed tool maker Leatherman, creating a new version of the latter’s Charge AL multi-tool.

The new piece comes in custom Shinola matte navy anodized exterior and is assembled with a bike hex tool and a special watch tool for replacing watch straps, custom to Shinola, and is accompanied by a leather sheath that features a Shinola lightning bolt logo snap for safekeeping.

The includes a comprehensive total of 17 tools – including needle-nose pliers, regular pliers, wire cutters, hard-wire cutters, 154CM knife, 420HC serrated knife, saw, scissors, wood/metal file, diamond-coated file, medium screwdriver, ruler, bottle opener, can opener, wire stripper, lanyard ring, quick release lanyard ring, removable pocket clip, and a bit kit with additional tools of various sizes and functions. It retails for $250 and is available at select Shinola detailers.
