Sperry taps john legend as global brand ambassador

As Sperry gears up to celebrate its 85th anniversary, the footwear brand has named John Legend as its new global brand ambassador. The brand will be working with the Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist to celebrate over eight decades of footwear, highlighting Sperry’s vast archive, as well as new silhouettes for 2020 into 2021.

Sperry and Legend will work together to present the “Sperry Legend Edit,” a selection of Legend’s favorite Sperry shoes. The boat shoes, boots, and sneakers chosen by Legend from Sperry’s Gold Cup, Cloud, and Top-Sider collections will be exclusively highlighted on the brand’s website.

They’re timeless, classic and there is a wide variety to choose from. I’m excited to share the Sperry Legend Edit – a selection of my favorite Sperry styles.”

The Sperry Legend Edit is available exclusively on sperry.com now through the first quarter of 2021, with new drops happening approximately every month.
