SPRING/SUMMER 2026 PITTI REPORT: DAY ONE

by John Russel Jones

A little rain didn’t dampen the spirits—or the style—of the men of Pitti on the first day of this season’s show. If these trendsetters are any indication, we’re anticipating a dressed-up spring/summer for 2026. Suits, especially double-breasted models, and neckwear were everywhere. Think Pink, as the song goes, because shades from tea rose to light coral to bold magenta and even lavenders were everywhere, as was classic white and ivory; sure to inspire both office looks and wedding parties. Khakis, beiges, pale grays, and, of course, classic blues, also offered a clean, neutral alternative for next year’s tailored clothing department.
