Stacy Adams Signature to Debut at MAGIC

by MR Magazine Staff

Urban dress-up fashion brand Stacy Adams (SA), will introduce Stacy Adams Signature, a new upscale label at next week’s MAGIC (Booth #2150). The collection, representing a higher level of quality and comfort for the more discerning Stacy Adams customer, will be priced at around ten to 20 percent higher than the existing line and will extend throughout the brand’s product range. Signature touches will include shoes in premium leathers with SA’s Tech4 comfort system, wholesaling for $45; suits in exclusive silk/rayon blends, $100 to $150; 100% cotton dress shirts with better construction, $19.75; sportswear in silk and silk/linen blends, $25 to $45; and jewelry with semi-precious stones and sterling, $14 to $37.50. The collection will also include belts, socks and tie/hanky sets, as always fastidiously color coordinated.

“We recognized that there was a void in the market for fashion footwear with comfort features, and were inspired to upgrade,” says Stacy Adams President Brian Flannery. “Our shoes normally retail for around $75. We can now offer the Tech4 comfort system shoe for around $100.”

“We then approached our licensees with the idea, and they’d all been thinking the same thing; that we needed to move the level up a little,” he adds. “At market, we’ve already gotten a great reaction to the shoes from retailers, including Macy’s East and West. The apparel will debut at MAGIC.”
