Crawford Brock, owner of Stanley Korshak, a leading luxury retailer in Dallas, Texas, has announced a strategic partnership with Mitchell Stores, based in Westport, Connecticut.

Mitchell Stores includes a portfolio of eight other luxury specialty stores on both the East (Mitchells and Richards) and West coasts (Wilkes Bashford and Marios). The partnership will give Stanley Korshak access to ten times its current product selection through Mitchells’ fully integrated in-store and online inventory. As systems are merged later in the Spring, Stanley Korshak’s customers will enjoy a new, expanded e-commerce world, including e-shopping and an enhanced electronic relationship with their current sales associates, including an integrated app, virtual closet, and reserve-in-store capabilities.

Mitchells has expanded through a commitment to developing the finest locally focused luxury specialty stores in the US.  “Stanley Korshak is a jewel in Texas, and we will do everything to help Crawford and his team continue to offer world-class products and services that are perfectly tailored to the Dallas customers,” said Chris Mitchell, 3rd generation owner who will now be spending half his time in Dallas.

“The only thing we love more than fashion is the customers we are privileged to serve. Nothing will change regarding the extraordinary service for which we are known.  The Mitchells have a long history of keeping what is special about each local store while providing significantly enhanced inventory and technology.” said Brock.  “Our highly-regarded Sales Associates will still be the heart and soul of our stores, and our buying and management team will continue to keep Korshaks a locally targeted store. The only changes our customers will see are the ways in which we are able to serve them even better.”

“We look forward to working closely with Crawford and getting to know his customers, designers, staff, and friends in Dallas and all of Texas.  Everything about how Crawford runs his business, from the exquisite product selection to the impeccable service is completely in sync with our culture,” said Bob Mitchell, Co-CEO. “We have no doubt this partnership will be seamless and synergistic, benefitting all parties, especially Korshak customers.”

Stanley Korshak and Mitchells have been working together since 2000 as members of the Forum Group, a collection of independent stores located in the U.S. “For close to 25 years we have traded ideas and dreams, now we get to jointly execute them,”  Brock stated.

Today, Mitchell Stores is run by the third and fourth generation of Mitchells and is the largest specialty multi-brand specialty store group in the US.

“I extend my warmest wishes to the Mitchells and Stanley Korshak families as they join together in this new chapter of their storied legacies. For generations, these two families have exemplified the highest values in luxury retail, deeply rooted in the art of relationships, community and exceptional service. This union is a testament to the power of tradition and vision coming together to strengthen the American retail landscape,” said Brunello Cucinelli, CEO Brunello Cucinelli.

“We are proud to call the Mitchell family our friends and our partners for decades,” says the Paone Family, owners of Kiton. “Their reputation for excellence and relationships with designers from around the world, will perfectly expand and complement the magnificent selections and experience at Stanley Korshak. ”
