TEXWORLD USA EXPANDS EXHIBITORS, ANNOUNCES CUTTING EDGE AWARDS FOR JANUARY SHOW

Texworld USA 2016International sourcing trade show Texworld USA, a division of Messe Frankfurt, will debut a new expansive show to run January 24-26 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Texworld USA’s winter 2016 product offerings will include cotton, knits, silk, embroidery, fibers, functional fabrics, wool, lace, prints, silky aspects, accessories and trims, polyester/man-made, yarns and an expanded denim offering.

Texworld’s winter 2016 show will feature a record 331 exhibitors representing 15 countries, including: USA, China, Peru, Portugal, United Kingdom, Colombia, Pakistan, Korea, Japan and India. Dedicated country pavilions include Taiwan and Turkey, and Lenzing Innovations’ pavilion will return to the show floor featuring 19 exhibitors focused on incorporating sustainable fibers into a wide range of product categories.

In addition to new exhibitors, the Texworld USA winter 2016 edition will also feature the first annual Texworld Cutting Edge Awards, which will spotlight the best of Texworld’s international exhibitors across seven categories, including: “temperature control”, “environmentally-friendly processing”, “most innovative”, “electronic textiles”, “lightweight & strong”, “denim innovation”, “best booth design”. Winners in each category will be recognized for their achievements in innovation during a live awards ceremony taking place during the show on Monday, January 25, 2016.
