Sam Glaser is a Eugene, Oregon native and graduate of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He interned at Ogilvy & Mather, started his career as the Brand Manager for WILL, and has been the buyer at STITCHED since 2013 – where he’s now Operating Partner and C.O.O. Glaser has worked as a contributor for Las Vegas Weekly, Du Jour, and others, and was named 40 Under 40 by the Las Vegas Sun.
“The best part of my job is combining the analytical with the creative, finding meaningful trends from data and style influences, looking into the future with innovative brands, and curating compelling assortments that impact the way people look and feel. Over the years I’ve learned that customer empathy is key. From the founder’s vision to the buyer’s planning to the sales-floor etiquette, it’s all about listening, understanding, and serving consumer needs.”
Sam’s prediction about men’s fashion: “Experience-driven, high-touch retail will remain relevant in an increasingly online, fast-fashion retail environment.” His next ambition: “Starting a fashion accelerator that connects emerging brands with production, sales, and marketing resources.”
