The return of normie fashion marks a cultural reset

Last month, on the heels of the men’s and women’s AW23 shows, fashion week observers and reporters exhaled in unison: finally, clothes. The sartorial pendulum had swung. In replace of “internet fashion” — memeable styles tailored for virality — were functional garments crafted for, well, getting dressed.
