Like many online retailers, TheTieBar.com is venturing into brick-and-mortar territory with its first pop-up shop. The 3,200 sq. ft. shop opened on October 17th in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago and will occupy the space for the next two months.
“Opening a physical retail space in Chicago is a natural evolution for the brand,” said the company’s CEO Michael Alter in a statement. “Our pop-up gives shoppers the chance to touch and feel our products. I’m excited to showcase the breadth of our collection and quality of our neckwear and accessories in a dynamic environment.”
The Tie Bar is known for its extensive, fashionable offering of affordable neckwear and men’s accessories, as well as its collaborations with Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and NBA star Dwayne Wade.
While no concrete plans have been announced, the Tie Bar is planning additional pop-ups in various locations for 2015.
