Back in November, Travis Scott decided to join the #oldcéline crew. The “Sicko Mode” rapper wore one of Phoebe Philo’s most recognizable silk shirts from her Spring 2011 collection for the French brand. And no, he didn’t borrow it from Kanye West, who wore the same shirt to perform at Coachella in 2011. Scott’s Céline swag actually came from Instagram, specifically the account @noausterity, which belongs to New York vintage dealer Sam Borgstrom. While 2011 doesn’t exactly count as vintage, since technically a piece of clothing has to be 10 or more years old to be considered as such, Borgstrom’s collection of throwback runway treasures is impressive nonetheless. He sells both men’s and women’s, but the menswear is of particular note, especially the Maison Margiela shirts, Helmut Lang jackets, and Raf Simons tees. Read more at Vogue.
