TIMOTHY SMASAL APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF SQUIRE FINE MEN’S APPAREL

Squire Fine Men's Apparel Timothy SmasalTimothy Smasal has been appointed president and general manager of Squire Fine Men’s Apparel, a five-year-old upscale Brookfield, Wisconsin men’s specialty retailer, effective immediately. Smasal will report directly to owner David Matsudaira, who will relocate to Seattle with his family this summer to finalize the company’s acquisition of specialty store Butch Blum.

Following a three-month transition with current management, Smasal will assume executive leadership of the company. Responsibilities will include sales and merchandising accountability, marketing and ecommerce development and the planning and tactical execution of operational growth and profit initiatives.

Smasal has more than 30 years’ experience in multi-store men’s apparel businesses, including positions at May Department Stores and Macy’s. He also holds a degree in Business Administration from The University of Wisconsin, Madison.
