New York-based designer Todd Snyder and iconic athletics brand New Balance have announced the launch of their latest collaboration: the Dirty Martini NB1 Made U.S. 998. A smart modern twist on the classic men’s sneaker, this premium style is inspired by one of Snyder’s favorite drinks and served straight up in the designer’s signature color: olive.
Crafted in the USA from premium and exclusive dark olive suede with Horween leather accents and functional details including midfoot cushioning and a non-marking outsole, the Dirty Martini ($199.99 retail) will be released in a limited run of 200 pairs, available this fall exclusively at ToddSnyder.com.
“This is my third New Balance 998 collaboration, each inspired by a drink I love,” said Snyder. “It doesn’t get much more classic than a dirty martini — with olives, of course — and there’s something really fresh about a contemporary city sneaker with such a timeless and gentlemanly reference.”
