TODD SNYDER TEAMS UP WITH ATELIER & REPAIRS

by Stephen Garner

Todd Snyder has partnered with Atelier & Repairs on an exclusive collection of one-of-a-kind, upcycled vintage pieces featuring artisanal quilting and Japanese-inspired embroidery.

Launching today, just in time for Earth Day, the Atelier & Repairs + Champion for Todd Snyder collection transforms classic Champion styles into wearable works of art.

Atelier & Repairs’ Maurizio Donadi has an L.A. archive that houses more than 10,000 vintage items from fatigues to tees. For this collection, Donadi and his team of artisans cut around any damaged parts of the chosen Champion garments and used traditional patching and embroidery techniques to transform these beautifully patina-ed styles into singular works of art. Rather than trying to hide the damage, they celebrated an item’s battle scars by using contrasting colors and patches to call attention to them.

The collection will be is now available on toddsnyder.com and at Todd Snyder Madison Square Park. Priced at $198, each of the 26 unique styles is alpha-sized, with measurements available on the site.
