Canada Fashion Group (CFG) has announced upcoming dates and new venue for its two fashion weeks, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week (TOM*) and Toronto Women’s Fashion Week (TW). In line with the global fashion week event circuit, the official dates for TOM* is set for September 26 – October 1 and TW on October 2- October 7.

CFG also announced One Yonge as its new venue and home for the two fashion weeks. The massive landmark venue boasts over 50,000 square-feet of space. The runway room will feature the longest runway in Canadian fashion history and the largest LED screen of its kind in Canada. It will be the new home to Canada’s most iconic designers and the next generation of emerging talent, showcasing the best in Canadian fashion for the spring/summer 2018 season.

Highlights this coming season for TOM* will include MensFashion4Hope and the return of the World Financial Group Emerging Menswear Designer Award (WFG|EMDA). TW will include the inaugural launch of WomensFashion4Hope presenting Canada’s top female celebrities wearing the latest fashion trends, and CANADA STYLE 150, a runway presentation featuring 150 years of Canadian fashion and style in celebration of the nation’s 150th birthday.

“I anticipate that One Yonge will be one of the best fashion week venues we’ve ever seen. With its high ceilings and massive size, it lends itself beautifully to a fashion week event,” said Jeff Rustia, founder and CEO, Canada Fashion Group and executive director of TOM* and TW.
