Tyler, The Creator Is Back With Another Converse One Star Collaboration

by MR Magazine Staff

While Converse’s Chuck Taylor is considered the brand’s flagship sneaker, its One Star silhouette has slowly infiltrated the stratosphere of stylish kicks in 2017. Beloved menswear label Engineered Garments just put their elevated spin on the all-American shoe, after Tyler, the Creator collaborated on a One Star release back in August. It was announced today that Tyler and Converse have teamed up yet again, this time with an even cooler, flower-ier version of the classic sneaker. Forever the rule breaker, Tyler, the Creator, made a floral motif the centerpiece of the suede kicks. (Flowers in winter? Why the hell not?) Officially dubbed the GOLF le FLEUR* signature sneaker, these shoes are as flashy and colorful as the daring style that Tyler himself has become known for. The lineup comes in a range of saturated colorways including a deep sunburnt yellow and an intense kelly green, plus a soft dusty gray for the minimalists out there. The textured suede brings a hit of luxe to the streamlined silhouette, while the unique flower design (a long-running theme in Tyler’s work, see his most recent album Flower Boy) adds some stylish psychedelic flair. The collaboration didn’t stop at just footwear either—it also includes a Sherpa bomber jacket, shorts, and bucket hat alongside GOLF le FLEUR* graphic pullover hoodies and T-shirts. Read more at GQ.
