UMBRO UNVEILS SNEAKER COLLABORATION WITH CULT FASHION LABEL OFF-WHITE

English sportswear and soccer brand Umbro has teamed up with designer Virgil Abloh and his label Off-White for a spring/summer 2017 capsule collection. Inspired by soccer culture, the capsule collection was first presented on the runway at Off-White’s latest fashion show in Paris last week.

Representing the footwear portion of the capsule, is the “Coach” sneaker, which features include Umbro’s heritage paneling on a hand-crafted premium leather upper, and mirrored Off-White branding sitting on top of a proper raw edge soccer style tongue.

“The authenticity of Umbro footwear drew me to the silhouette, the ‘Coach’, chooses to be a part of the collection,” said Abloh.

The Umbro x Off-White Coach sneaker will be available at select retailers early next year.
