Unionmade is sharing the love with Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day by opening its fourth store. The 1,900 sq. ft. shop at The Grove will have a similar vibe to the San Francisco flagship, stocking men’s casual and fine apparel (Gitman Vintage, Stanley & Sons, Golden Bear), footwear (Alden, New Balance), books and grooming products (exclusive Baxter for Unionmade candles and bath products).

Carl Chiara, co-founder of Unionmade, said in a statement, “The Grove is in the center of town—it is where everyone shops. We are excited to have a big new space, one that can hold our entire assortment: our collaborations, our private label, and all of our brands. We work very hard to buy into a seasonal point of view, and we are excited to be able to express it completely at our new location at The Grove.”

Unionmade was honored by MR Magazine with an Uptown/Downtown Award in July 2012. Co-founders Todd Barket and Carl Chiara are known in the industry for their superb merchandising skills, limited-edition collaborations and stocking well-made, quality goods (many of which are made in the U.S.). Barket and Chiara already own and operate three Unionmade stores in California (San Francisco, Brentwood, Larkspur), as well as Mill Mercantile, a women’s store in San Francisco.
