UPCOMING DALLAS MEN’S SHOW TRIPLES IN SIZE

by Stephen Garner

According to the Dallas Market Center, its upcoming Dallas Men’s Show will be the largest in recent memory and will feature more than 700 brands. The summer edition of the show will be held July 31-August 2 and will be triple the size of the summer 2019 show.

The Dallas Men’s Show welcomes top menswear retailers from coast to coast to shop a curated, expanded array of traditional and contemporary lines in multiple neighborhoods. More than 700 domestic and international brands are participating in the trade event, including 143 new exhibitors. The market center offers apparel, accessories, and footwear in permanent showrooms and temporary exhibitors as well as adjacent neighborhoods for western products and men’s gifts thus creating a complete marketplace for retailers.

“We are anticipating the largest and most active Men’s Show in many years,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The brands are eager to participate in a centrally-located, easy-to-work and enjoyable marketplace that delivers top retailers. Likewise, the buyers are looking for one show that fulfills all their needs across apparel, accessories, and even men’s gifts. We had an amazing winter edition of the show so we’re building upon the momentum of well-attended, inspiring, and safe events.”

The Dallas Men’s Show will take place across multiple floors of the World Trade Center. On the 7th floor are men’s permanent showrooms featuring brands including Barbour, Bugatchi, Hagen, Jack Victor, Tumi, and 7 Diamonds. Select showrooms on the 13th and 15th floors also serve menswear buyers including Tommy Bahama, Donald Pliner, and multi-line showrooms such as Scott Harner & Co., which features AG Jeans.

On the 12th floor are nearly 150 temporary exhibitors—a record amount of space. Exhibitors include Luciano Barbera, Lubiam, Fioroni, Gallia, Lardini, Psycho Bunny, Faherty, DL1961, Pig & Hen, Scarpe Di Bianco, Zelli Italia, Rubirosa, and Billy Reid. In addition, retailers may find a gift neighborhood on 12 with men’s gift products ranging from personal care to accessories from brands including BrüMate, Duke Cannon, Olivina, Puffin Coolers, Mad Man, and Tooletries.

Finally, a large number of 14th floor Western showrooms will also be open for the show including Panhandle, Twisted X, Lucchese, Resistol, Hooey, and Madison Creek Outfitters.

Taking place daily, hospitality and networking are legendary at the Men’s Show. Each morning new buyers are invited to listen to tips and tricks for navigating market at the new DMC Buyer Scoop. On Saturday evening everyone is invited to the famous Men’s Show Party taking place on the 12th floor. Enjoy drinks, food, live music, game tables, and a signature shot and photo op sponsored by MR magazine.
