KEEN FOOTWEAR ANNOUNCED A PRICE COMMITMENT IN RESPONSE TO TARIFFS

by Brett Edward Stout

Based in Portland, KEEN Inc. has stated that it will not implement any tariff-related price increases for the remainder of 2025. The statement is a defiant act, and they stated is a response to their partners, fans, and community.

Founder and CEO of KEEN, Rory Fuerst has sent an official letter to all its partners, confirming the business decision, “We believe it’s our responsibility to support our retail partners and fans through this period of uncertainty. By holding our prices steady, we aim to help you maintain strong consumer relationships and continue delivering the value and quality people expect from KEEN.”

“We recognize this is not a simple or easy choice in today’s climate — but it’s the right one.”

KEEN will be relying on its diversified supply chain, owned manufacturing, including a factory in the USA, and proactive planning – the company is fortunate to be in a position to have a lower tariff burden than most, which will allow it to absorb these impacts without passing them on to its community.
