Prep lifestyle brand Vineyard Vines has inked a two year contract extension with PGA Tour Pro Russell Knox as his official apparel provider through 2019. In 2016, Knox had the best year of his career, notching two wins in the 2015/2016 PGA Tour season at the World Golf Championship-HSBC Champions and the Travelers Championship. Beyond his impressive play, Knox has proved to be a strong brand partner, prompting Vineyard Vines to tear up his existing contract and secure the relationship for an additional two years.

“Russ has been a wonderful brand ambassador since we first partnered with him at the 2016 Masters,” said Shep Murray, co-founder and CEO of Vineyard Vines. “It is not only his play on the course but his personality that resonates so well with our brand and our everyday should feel this good way of life.”

“Russell has worked very hard to be able to do what he loves for a living,” added Ian Murray, co-founder and CEO of Vineyard Vines. “That in particular resonates with us and the founding of vineyard vines. Similarly, we’re spending every day doing something we love.”

“I am thrilled to continue my partnership with Vineyard Vines,” said Knox. “The fit, the look and the brand are a great match for my style and me. It’s an honor to sport the whale as I compete around the world and I look forward to many more victories together.”
