WILL.I.AM CREATES XUPERGEAR INSPIRED BY XUPERMASK

Although mask mandates may slowly being peeled back (where they were put in place at all), somehow it feels like the little lifesavers will continue to have an effect on our lives for a long time to come. Rapper, producer, all-around creative and tech innovator will.i.am partnered with Honeywell back in April 2021 to create the high-tech face mask dubbed XUPERMASK that featured a dual 3-speed fan and HEPA filters for enhanced breathability. Easily adjustable to fit a variety of face shapes and extremely durable, the mask also boasts active noise cancelling audio and microphone capabilities, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, LED day glow lights, a magnetic earbud docking system and is powered by a 7-hour battery.

Now the superstar unveils XUPERGEAR, a collection that integrates mask protection and Honeywell filtration into modern streetwear. The functional pieces include two designs (graffiti and blank) in six SKUs, each with an attached mask and Honeywell filter insert. The pieces range from short- to long-sleeved pieces in Lycra jersey or neoprene, retailing for $159 to $199.
