WOLVERINE LAUNCHES NEW SNEAKER COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

Wolverine has launched a new sneaker collection as part of its Wolverine BLVD line, inspired by clean lines, contemporary aesthetic, and expert craftsmanship. By combining Wolverine’s century-plus shoemaking expertise with an updated take on a classic sneaker, the new collection offers a cool and durable option for the modern man’s wardrobe.

Wolverine BLVD sneakers will be offered in two silhouettes, with each shoe hand-made and assembled using traditional techniques all while incorporating professional detailing. The Wolverine BLVD low tops are constructed in an all-leather upper in three colors (white, dark brown, and cognac), or an all suede upper in grey. And, the Wolverine BLVD court sneakers are available in two colorways (white and grey), designed with a combination of premium leathers and suede, in an iconic T-toe design for a vintage yet updated tennis-inspired look.

“We have been making long-lasting, quality boots for over 135 years, and we are thrilled to incorporate this same craftsmanship and expertise in the Wolverine BLVD sneaker collection,” said Tom Kennedy, global brand president for Wolverine. “We wanted to create a timeless, effortless, and clean sneaker that is an essential wardrobe staple for each and every day. Life is already complicated and we hope BLVD sneakers will help simplify the everyday wearer’s routine, so you don’t need to think twice about slipping a pair on with any look.”

Wolverine BLVD sneakers, which retail for $129, are available now for pre-order on wolverine.com/blvd.
