WOOLRICH CELEBRATES ITS NEW OUTDOOR FOUNDATION

For almost 200 years, the natural world has served as the Woolrich brand’s enduring inspiration. Now, the brand plans to spend the next 200 years playing its part as an environmental steward and protector.

Marking the next chapter in its ongoing commitment to the environment, Woolrich has teamed up with 1% for the Planet to launch the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation. The new Foundation’s mission is simple: to protect and preserve the outdoors for communities globally, giving back to the people and planet that have inspired and helped build the Woolrich brand.

Through 1% for the Planet, the Woolrich brand will now donate one percent of all direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, and full-price sales to impactful environmental projects across the foundation’s three core pillars: urban space renewal, protecting forests, and coastal maintenance.

Woolrich’s donation will be fifty percent cash, with the remaining fifty percent in product, volunteer hours, services, or advertising and communications activities. The combined total of The Woolrich Outdoor Foundation’s contributions to meaningful environmental projects is projected to be no less than $3 million in its first three years.
